As the Official Healthcare Provider for the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury, our hospitals are once again serving as the Presenting Partner of the Phoenix Suns’ “Month of Service” initiative — an annual program for Phoenix Suns’ players, alumni, front office executives and staff to provide volunteer services that give back to the local community.
The Phoenix Suns organization has chosen the Edison-Eastlake Choice Neighborhood Community Clean-up as one of their “Month of Service” projects! This is a great opportunity for us all to come out and show our support for the Edison-Eastlake Choice Neighborhood — which immediately surrounds the St. Luke’s Medical Center facility. Edison-Eastlake Choice Neighborhood is a HUD-awarded grant community, with funds being used by the City of Phoenix to transform the neighborhood through improved housing, services, schools and more.
Join us as we team up to clean up the neighborhood. Bring your family and work alongside Phoenix Suns personalities, hospital staff members and City of Phoenix employees on this worthwhile beautification project. Together, we’ll landscape, garden, paint and clean up our neighborhood — making it a beautiful place for us all to share!
All volunteers receive complimentary breakfast and lunch. First 200 registrants receive a free t-shirt. Become a Project Leader and earn free Phoenix Suns’ tickets and more! Registration and breakfast begins at 7 a.m. in the St. Luke’s Medical Center parking lot, on Oct. 14.
